County Air Ambulance covers the Midlands and Welsh border region. Our aircraft fly across the most diverse terrain in the United Kingdom, covering cities to villages; farming, industrial and commercial sites; seven motorways, major trunk roads and thousands of miles of rural roads.
Our three helicopters are based in three locations, at RAF Cosford, near Wolverhampton, Strensham Motorway Service Area, just past junction 8 off the northbound M5, and Tatenhill Airfield in Staffordshire. These locations are ideal to allow the flight crews to reach all parts of the region within 19 minutes and 80 percent of the region within 8 minutes flying time.
